She now lives in Calgary, Alberta and travels to Puerto Vallarta every winter. After a postgraduate education in English and a career in nonprofit management, about ten years ago Elena took on a new challengewriting fiction. Since then, shes studied creative writing at Calgarys Alexandra Writers Centre.
