FixProMaster FixPrime is a professional-grade polymer-modified cementitious slurry primer that enhances adhesion between paving slabs and full mortar beds. Designed for porcelain, natural stone and other low-absorption materials, it creates a durable interface to reduce slab movement, debonding and hollow spots over time. Suitable for residential and commercial projects, it supports long-term stability when installed according to BS 7533 principles. Key benefits include strong adhesion, reduced debonding, and improved durability for full-bed systems. The formulation combines cementitious binders, graded aggregates and polymer additives to form a creamy, workable slurry applied by brush or roller to the full underside of slabs. This reduces air voids and improves bedding contact. At 20°C, pot life is approximately 60 minutes. Final performance depends on substrate preparation, mortar quality, drainage and weather conditions. Users should assess compatibility and test small areas if unsure. Avoid application on polished or contaminated surfaces, during freezing, heavy rain or extreme heat. Maintain substrate and ambient temperatures between +5°C and +30°C during application and curing. Coverage is up to 20 m² per 20 kg unit, with water requirement of approximately 6 litres per bag. This cement-based product requires PPE. Avoid skin and eye contact. Refer to SDS before use. Responsibility for installation outcomes remains with the installer.

Details and care FixPrime should be applied to the entire underside of each paving slab with a recommended slurry thickness of approximately 1 to 2 mm to achieve full contact with a fresh wet mortar bed. Spot bedding or partial application is not recommended. Typical coverage is up to approximately 20 square metres per 20 kilogram bag depending on substrate and application thickness with a water requirement of approximately 6 litres and a pot life of around 60 minutes at 20 degrees Celsius. Apply only when substrate and ambient temperatures are between 5 and 30 degrees Celsius and avoid frozen contaminated excessively hot or heavily wet conditions. Store in a cool dry frost free surrounding for up to 12 months. Wear appropriate protective gloves eye protection and workwear during handling and application avoid contact with skin and eyes and refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use. Installation performance depends on correct substrate preparation mortar quality drainage design weather conditions and professional installation practices and compatibility testing is recommended where site conditions are uncertain.
