Franco Mussida's Il Pianeta Della Musica E Il Viaggio Di Iotu is a conceptual 2xLP that moves with the patience of progressive rock but often feels closer to a reflective suite than a straight band record. Acoustic detail, melodic writing and spoken or sung passages all feed into its sense of journey. Tracks like 'L'oro Del Suono', 'Afromedindian' and 'Il Sogno E La Strada' give the album shape, while the broader arc rewards a front-to-back listen.SIDE ONE:1. Iotu E Il Piano Planetario2.
