Keep your garden birds well-fed while protecting their food from squirrels and larger birds with this Gardman Heavy Duty Squirrel Proof Fat Snax Feeder. Designed with a strong cast metal cage, this feeder is built to withstand persistent pests, allowing only smaller birds to access the suet balls inside. Ideal for year-round feeding, the feeder holds up to 4 fat snax or suet energy balls – perfect for attracting a wide variety of birds including tits, robins, and finches. The feeder is also treated with Gardman’s Feed Safe™ biocidal coating, which actively kills bacteria on contact, helping to maintain a hygienic feeding area. Simple to fill and clean, this feeder is a practical addition to any outdoor space. For best results, hang the feeder securely and place it away from surfaces that squirrels could use to jump across. What to do: To fill, unclip lid and remove. Fill with Gardman fat snax or suet balls. Close securely and site feeder out of reach of predators. How to clean: Clean regularly with mild disinfectant. Remove all uneaten wet food to avoid bacterial build up. Keep feeder clean of droppings and other debris. Wash outside and protect yourself by wearing gloves and washing hands afterwards. After cleaning, rinse feeder thoroughly. Regularly move feeders to other areas of your garden to avoid a build up of unhygienic deposits.
