For safe use, always place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface and keep it away from flammable materials, children, and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and trim the wick to 5–7mm before each use for a clean, even burn. Allow the top layer of wax to fully melt to prevent tunnelling, and avoid burning the candle for more than 3–4 hours at a time. Do not move the candle while lit or while the wax is hot, and allow the tin to cool completely before handling or replacing the lid. Discontinue use when approximately 10mm of wax remains, and store the candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
