The Hyundai HY40CCS350 Cordless Chainsaw delivers powerful battery performance for demanding garden cutting tasks, including pruning established trees, cutting fallen branches and preparing logs for firewood. Powered by two 20V lithium-ion batteries running in series to deliver 40V, its efficient brushless motor drives the chain at speeds of up to 20m/s. This provides strong cutting performance without petrol, fumes, restrictive cables or engine servicing. The 350mm (14") cutting bar provides the capacity needed for medium-sized branches and logs that smaller pruning saws may struggle to handle, making it a versatile choice for regular domestic tree and log cutting. A 200ml automatic chain lubrication system continuously oils the bar and chain during operation, helping maintain smooth cutting performance while reducing wear and maintenance. For added safety, the HY40CCS350 features an anti-kickback chain brake designed to stop the chain rapidly in the event of unexpected kickback. As part of Hyundai’s 20V 2nd Generation cordless range, its batteries can be shared with compatible Hyundai tools. The chainsaw uses two 20V batteries together to provide 40V power. Please note that 2nd Generation batteries are not compatible with 1st Generation 20V MAX batteries.
