The Hyundai HYC2400E is a powerful yet lightweight corded electric chainsaw designed for everyday woodcutting tasks, including cutting dense logs, firewood and felling medium-sized trees. Powered by a high-performance 2400W / 2.4kW electric motor, it features a high-quality 16" / 40cm Oregon cutting bar and a fast 15m/s chain speed for excellent medium-duty cutting performance around the garden. Weighing just 6.6kg, the HYC2400E combines easy handling with an ergonomic soft-grip rear handle for improved comfort during extended use. Tool-free assembly allows you to get started quickly, while one-handed tool-less chain tensioning makes adjustments simple. Automatic chain lubrication helps maintain smooth performance and prolong chain life, with a transparent oil tank allowing the oil level to be easily checked from either side. A handle-mounted cable loop also helps prevent excessive strain on the power cable. For added safety, the electric/mechanical chain brake can stop the chain in approximately 0.15 seconds in the event of kickback, while the toughened steel spiked bumper provides additional stability and control when cutting.
