The Hyundai HY40CSC38 is a versatile 40V cordless scarifier and aerator designed to remove thatch, relieve soil compaction and help water, air and nutrients reach your lawn’s roots. Ideal for small to medium-sized lawns, it combines two essential lawn-care functions in one convenient machine. Its interchangeable scarifier and raker blades allow you to tackle different lawn conditions. The rigid steel scarifier tines remove built-up thatch, while the spring-tine raker helps aerate compacted soil and clear lighter material. A generous 38cm / 15" working width helps cover lawns efficiently. Five adjustable working heights from -12mm to +6mm allow you to tailor the depth to your lawn, from lighter seasonal maintenance to deeper scarifying. The large 45L collection bag captures removed material as you work, reducing clean-up and emptying stops. Powered by two 20V 4.0Ah batteries working together to deliver 40V performance, the HY40CSC38 provides cordless freedom without petrol or restrictive power cables. Its durable polypropylene deck resists rust, while Operator Presence Control stops the motor when the handle is released for added safety. Part of Hyundai’s 2nd Generation 20V battery platform, its batteries can be shared with compatible Hyundai cordless tools. Please note that HY20/HY40 batteries are not compatible with 1st Generation HY21 20V MAX batteries.
