The synthetic Coolmax fabric next to skin as a liner is designed to act as a silky barrier to prevent rubbing and blisters and to manage moisture to move it to the outside of the sock where the Merino socks take over, to then move moisture to the outside whilst retaining excess moisture within the fibre so your feet remain dry at all times. If blisters are an issue for you, then the Liner+Hiker combination will definitely do the trick. Sold in two's so you get a pair of liners and one pair of the exterior Merino Wool socks in one set.
