II were armed with a cannon 2 pdr. later replaced by the most powerful 6 pdr cannon. in version Mk.III. Without adequate armors against the opposing shot he was also very vulnerable to the opposing mines and anti-tank guns, and his armament often turned out to be inadequate in front of similar German vehicles. However, when used in a coordinated way, they managed to achieve good results.
