Cook sauces, soups and sides with this 20cm aluminium saucepan with a glass lid. It is made from thick gauge aluminium for quick, even heat conduction that helps prevent hot spots. The non-stick coating makes food release and cleaning easy, and it allows you to cook with less oil. The tempered glass lid has a steam vent and a stainless steel rim, so you can see your food while it cooks without lifting the lid. The handle gives a comfortable grip and has a hole for hanging storage. The 20cm size is ideal for heating soups, beans, sauces, gravy, custard, porridge, boiling eggs, cooking rice and pasta for one or two, and reheating leftovers. Please check whether the saucepan is suitable for your hob type before use; aluminium pans are not normally suitable for induction hobs unless stated. Please note the lid is not oven safe. Wash before first use. Heat on a low to medium setting, and do not heat the pan empty. Use wooden, silicone or nylon utensils to protect the non-stick coating, and avoid metal utensils and scourers. Turn the handle away from the front of the hob, and keep children away while cooking. The pan and lid become hot during cooking; use an oven glove. Allow the pan to cool before washing in warm soapy water, and dry thoroughly. Avoid sudden temperature changes to the glass lid. The colour is as shown in the listing images.
