Turn a standard hinged door into a self-closing door with this non-handed 180 degree spring door closer. This safety spring closer works on doors weighing up to 110 lbs (50kg), making it suitable for many interior doors, gates, garden doors, sheds and utility room doors. It is non-handed, so it can be used on both left and right handed doors. The closer arm can swing a full 180 degrees, and the closing speed and closer pressure can be adjusted to suit your door. Installation is simple: mount the closer body to the door frame and attach the arm to the door as instructed. It is useful for keeping doors closed to help keep heat in, keep pets in or out of a room, reduce draughts, and keep external doors and gates from being left open. It is made from aluminium alloy, which is durable and resistant to corrosion, and it weighs 334g. Please note this spring closer is not a certified fire door closer; fire doors must be fitted with a closer that meets the relevant fire safety standards. Adjust the closing speed carefully to avoid the door slamming, and take care to keep fingers clear of the door edge and hinges, especially around children.
