Using a Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamp helps replace the negatively charged ions in the air, which may help reduce the alleged physical and mental effects of 'electric smog.' Each lamp comes with a UK light fitting of 1.5 meters length and a bulb. Instead of selling by size, we sell them by approximate weight. The size markings are only meant to give a rough idea, as each lamp is completely unique. Himalayan salt lamps and candle holders have hygroscopic properties, meaning they absorb moisture from the air. If your lamp appears to be ‘sweating’ or leaking water, it’s usually due to being switched off for a long time, particularly in humid conditions. To fix this, leave the lamp in strong sunlight for 4 to 5 hours, then brush off any excess crystals or wipe it gently with a dry cloth. If you won’t be using the lamp for an extended period (e.g., while on holiday), it’s best to disconnect the cable and remove it from the lamp. In humid environments, placing the lamp on a small tray or dish is recommended to catch any pooled water
