Lashing ratings are in force units of daN (ten Newtons). 1 daN = 1.0 kilogram. These lashings have a breaking pull force of 4000daN (kg) and a lashing capacity of 2000daN (kg). Overall length 4.0m, main tension strip 3775mm, fixed length ends 225mm (3 layers). Steering strap is 50 cm (19.7 inches) long. The average road car and van wheel diameter plus tire sidewall profile ranges from 14 inches to 19 inches. Ideal for securing cars and vans while transporting. The 3-part format allows the grapple to be attached to a suitable lashing point (maximum diameter 18mm), then the main power strap is threaded through the steering gear, around the back of the wheel, through the other side of the steering gear and into the manual ratchet to tension tight. The steering gear is completely soft, so there are no metal fittings to scratch or mark expensive alloy wheels. Insert the webbing into the ratchet, pull up the slack, and apply ratchet tension by operating the handle back and forth. Close the handle when safe. These straps are ideal for securing cars and vans to trucks and trailers for transportation. It is recommended to install one strap on each of the four wheels of the vehicle.
