machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle (30°C) using only mild detergent; avoid hot water, bleach, and fabric softeners, as these can shrink the cotton or dull the fibers. To prevent creasing or curling, remove the rug from the machine as soon as the cycle finishes, shake it out to reshape the edges, and hang it to air dry in a well-ventilated area. Always ensure the rug dries naturally and avoid direct high heat from radiators or dryers, which can stress the chenille yarns and damage the rug’s structure.
