Whether you’re painting interiors, exteriors, or furniture, proper surface preparation is essential to achieve the best adhesion and results with Landlords Paint, and it can be done in just three simple steps. First, for pre-painted surfaces, ensure they are dry, cleaned, repaired, and sanded if rough; for fresh plaster, apply a base coat or primer (thinning this paint with 50% water creates a suitable mist coat), and always use primer on wood or metal. Second, fill and repair any wall cracks to reduce the risk of damp. Third, make sure the surface is fully dry, dust-free, and free from condensation or flaking paint, keeping in mind that mould, condensation, and damp will return if underlying issues like poor ventilation or water ingress aren’t resolved. Once your surface is prepared, you’re ready to paint, and application is very easy with a brush, roller, or airless sprayer across all interior and exterior walls, concrete, slabs, block paving, tarmac, brick, and masonry, provided the surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease or dirt.
