A high-performance active extension cable that allows computers to connect to USB 3.0 SuperSpeed peripherals over long distances with data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps. The cable incorporates active technology and locking connectors to ensure reliable signal integrity in demanding environments. It can be used independently or as part of a modular USB 3.0 Active Extension System combining multiple cables and hubs to distribute USB signals to up to 4 devices at distances up to 40m. When used in a combined system, the first unit connected to your computer must be an 8m or 15m cable. Additional extension cables can then be cascaded to extend the distance up to a maximum of 40m. The final part of the extension can be any cable or hub from the range. For multiple devices or high power requirements, use the 10m hub unit with its power supply as the final extension. USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and USB 3.2 are all compatible with each other using USB Type A or Type C host interfaces. USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps. USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 support data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps.
