Between 2011 and 2014, I wrote eight short stories. I had been writing stories since I was six.Odd ideas would enter my head and I would feel compelled to write about them. On the surface, these stories appear to be about diverse characters an orphan, an exconvict and a bully. But beneath, all are about alienation. My childrens mysteries of the Seventies are the same alienation. I hadnt noticed. Why do I keep writing about alienation?At the age of fiftyone, I would discover something terrible about myself. This terrible truth has leaked into my stories and would explain why this theme runs throughout my stories.With illustrations and diary excerpts.
