The McAlpine ASC10 is a 75mm water seal adjustable inlet tubular swivel 'P' trap with a multifit outlet. This trap is similar to the ASA10, with the main difference being the lack of an anti-siphon (Silentrap) feature. Like other 'P' traps, the McAlpine ASC10 is designed to prevent sewer gases from entering a building through the drainage system. The water seal in the trap prevents odors from passing back up into the building by creating a barrier of water between the inside of the trap and the outside air.
