The team also gets involved trying to thwart a terrorist attack in America, even though it is far outside their purview, and well against the law to do so since they are CIA and Military. In the process, the two situations intermingle, while the FBI tries to investigate Jim. Other problems are uncovered along the wayand dealt withharshly. Also, during the course of the book, Holly has to deal with a dream she had, which leads to an eerie meeting.One would think given fair warning not to mess with someoneespecially someone like Jim Scottit might be a good idea to take ones losses, and lick ones wounds. In this novel, a warning given is ignored, leading to a cascade of events. No matter how smart, how rich, and how ruthless a person can bethere is always someone who is smarter, richer, and, when prodded, even more ruthless. In this book, Jim Scott is prodded.
