Always place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface and keep away from drafts, flammable materials, children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each use to ensure a clean, even burn and prevent smoking. Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface on first use to avoid tunnelling. Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time and discontinue use when 10mm of wax remains. Once the candle has fully cooled, the container may be cleaned and reused as a decorative plant pot or holder.
