Grey Oyster Mushrooms are easy to grow. They’ve a classic mushroom flavour and are brilliantly versatile in all areas of cooking. Keep your kit in a light and airy spot where you’ll remember to water it twice a day and watch it grow. These mushrooms don’t need to be grown in the dark – kept indoors, in a kitchen is the perfect room – giving them the right light and temperature to thrive. Once you have grown your first flush of mushrooms, you can follow the instructions to attempt a second or even third flush. Expect to harvest at least 200-250g of over a few harvests. These are culinary mushrooms and have no known hallucinogenic properties. For best results, your kit will need to be opened within 3 days of receipt. Alternatively, they can be stored in the fridge but must be used within one month. A full set of instructions can be found inside your kit bag. The outer bag and substate block can be composted or disposed of along with your normal food waste.
