Stand Diameter - This is the diameter of your Christmas tree base or stand, as this will need to fit inside the Christmas tree skirt we have given the internal measurements of our tree skirts below. Please bear in mind that the tree skirts are narrower at the top than they are at the bottom, so there is a slight angle on the wall of the tree skirt - in other words, if you think it's a close fit then go for a larger size. If you choose one too small, you may find that it doesn't fit over the base completely so it doesn't touch the floor at the back. 2. Tree Diameter - This is the width of your tree at its widest point - purely for aesthetic reasons, you don't really want your tree skirt to be wider than the tree at it's widest point.
