Muir is releasing a second volume. The awardwinning photographer, along with photographer and fine artist Sean Henry, has set out to capture even more stunning images of Jamaica in 2022. The new edition, Pieces of Jamaica 60, will showcase the island beyond tourism, politics and individuals, depicting Jamaican culture not typically published or celebrated, creating a meaningful keepsake that inspires nostalgia and a patriotic spirit.The collection will feature photographs of locations, people, activities, attractions and more from the island that inspire nostalgia and a sense of home, made up of the photo art of David I. Muir, and the photos and fine artwork of Sean Henry. Pieces of Jamaica 60 will tell the story of Jamaica from the eyes of her sons and daughters, occasionally including images of old Jamaica, quotes about the island, the work itself or from popular prose, and large, immersive visuals of the most familiar Jamaican sights, as well as those the artists invite you to explore.
