This heat powered stove fan is designed to direct the heat generated by your log or wood burner evenly around your room, that heat would otherwise be lost as hot air naturally moves upwards towards the ceiling. This user friendly, self powered fan increases the efficiency of your log burner whilst requiring no power input, neither electricity or battery, to work. The built in thermoelectric module in the fan converts the heat from your log burner into electricity and this then causes the fan blades to spin and the hot air to be distributed throughout your room. The fan is extremely quiet, compact and requires no installation. The fan can circulate up to 5 m3/m of air .For best results place the fan on top of your log burner but as far away from the flue as possible. Also supplied with this item is a magnetic thermometer which can be placed on fires and log/wood burners to provide accurate temperature readings. The thermometer will help to make sure your fire is more efficient by ensuring that you are burning fuel at the optimum temperature. If your fire is at the optimum temperature you will burn less fuel ultimately saving you money. When a fire burns too hot for prolonged periods of time it can damage the fire and the flue. The thermometer features a strong magnet allowing it to be placed directly onto the fire or flue ensuring accuracy of readings, no installation is required.
