This HDMI to DisplayPort adapter connects a 4K 60Hz HDMI video source, such as a laptop or desktop, to a DisplayPort monitor or projector. The adapter supports up to 3840x2160 60Hz with HDR, HDCP 2.2, and 2-channel DisplayPort audio. It also supports 4K 30Hz, 1080p, and ultrawide resolutions up to 3440x1440 60Hz. The converter features a 1ft cable between the HDMI and DP connectors, reducing strain on ports and connectors. An attached 1ft USB-A cable connects to a nearby powered USB port or USB wall charger. Plug and play setup is compatible with any HDMI enabled laptop, desktop, Ultrabook, MacBook, or Chromebook. The adapter utilises the video capabilities of the host device, reducing CPU usage.
