This USB-C to Lightning cable is designed to withstand the daily demands of charging and syncing your iPad, iPhone or other mobile devices featuring the Lightning connector. Tested to endure strenuous wear and tear and in-car use, the strong and rugged cable is built for both business and consumer applications. The cable features aramid fibre reinforcement that protects it from the stress of frequent bends and twists, allowing the cable to flex without over-stretching and strengthening the core. Insulated conductors reduce friction and provide flexibility. EMI (electromagnetic interference) protection is provided by aluminium-mylar foil with braided shielding. The TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) cable jacket is softer and more flexible than a standard PVC cable. The reinforced cable is constructed to prevent the connector from separating from the jacket. The strain relief molding is tested to withstand over 10,000 bend cycles at a 180 degree angle. The Lightning connector provides 12W charging, and the metal shield protects the circuit board from EMI and reinforces the connection point. This is an Apple MFi certified Lightning cable backed by a 2-year warranty.
