When Nelson Penzell, coowner of a local art and treasure store in Cabot Cove, is murdered, one of the nail techs from Jessica Fletchers favorite beauty parlor is the main suspect. After all shes the one who ran out of the store screaming, covered in blood, and holding the murder weapon. Jessica is positive that despite the circumstances, Coreen cant possibly be guilty, and is determined to prove it. Then Michael Haggerty, the handsome MI6 agent and Jessicas old friend, is caught snooping around the scene of the crime, and its quickly apparent to Jessica that she was right.
