A sterling silver ring hand-carved in wax and created using the traditional lost wax technique. Part of a marine-inspired study in form and texture, the Sea Slug Pearl Ring explores softness, asymmetry, and the movement found in nature, transformed into a unique wearable sculpture. At its centre sits a luminous freshwater pearl cabochon, selected for its soft glow and natural character. The surrounding silver combines polished and oxidised finishes, creating depth and contrast that changes beautifully with movement and light. Sculpted by hand in my Cornwall studio, each detail is carefully shaped to create a tactile piece that balances softness with structure. Designed for comfort and everyday wear, this ring carries a quiet yet distinctive presence — a small sculptural creation that becomes more personal through the story of its making.
