Fill a plastic bag (making sure it doesn't have holes in it) with a mixture of one-part vinegar and three-parts water. Tie the plastic bag around the shower head to immerse it in the mixture and leave for at least 30 minutes. Remove the plastic bag. Wipe the head clean and run the shower to get rid of any excess.
