To clean a crystal light fixture, first, turn off power at the breaker, then dust it with a microfiber cloth; for deep cleaning, either use a specialist spray or a mixture of 1 part isopropyl alcohol/vinegar to 4 parts distilled water, wiping each crystal with a lint-free cloth (or taking crystals off for washing in mild soap) and drying immediately, avoiding ammonia and never spraying directly on the fixture. Routine dusting every few months and a thorough cleaning yearly keeps it sparkling, using cotton gloves to prevent fingerprints
