To clean brushed nickel taps, use mild dish soap and warm water with a soft cloth for daily cleaning, then rinse and immediately buff dry with a microfiber cloth to prevent spots. For mineral buildup or grime, a solution of equal parts water and white vinegar or a dedicated non-caustic metal cleaner (like diluted Simple Green) works, but avoid leaving it on too long and rinse thoroughly. Crucially, avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive scrubbers, and acidic cleaners like straight vinegar, which can damage the finish.
