To clean a ceiling crystal light, first cut the power, then choose to clean crystals on or off: for on-light cleaning, use a spray of 4 parts distilled water to 1 part isopropyl alcohol on a microfiber cloth, gently wiping crystals and frame, and drying immediately; for off-light cleaning, remove crystals, soak in warm water with mild soap/vinegar, rinse with distilled water, and dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or cotton gloves before reassembling. Always use lint-free cloths or cotton gloves and avoid ammonia-based cleaners, protecting the floor below with a sheet or umbrella.
