Keeping your lawn looking its best often means spreading grass seed or fertiliser across a sizeable area, and doing it by hand can be time-consuming. The Handy 23kg (50lb) Broadcast Spreader helps make routine lawn care more manageable by distributing material across a wide area as you walk. It can also be used to spread refined ice-melting salt during winter, but must not be used with rock salt. The 23kg (50lb) maximum capacity and 23L hopper give you room to carry lawn treatments without having to refill after every few steps. With a 3.05-3.66m (10-12ft) spread width, the broadcast mechanism helps you cover more ground with each pass, while adjustable feed control lets you regulate how much material is released to suit the job. Pneumatic tyres help the spreader travel over uneven garden surfaces, and the soft-grip handle provides a comfortable hold as you push. The poly hopper is supported by a metal frame, providing a practical design for regular outdoor maintenance. A hopper screen and rain cover are included, giving you useful accessories for preparing and using the spreader outdoors. Whether you're sowing new grass seed, applying fertiliser or maintaining outdoor areas during colder weather, this hand-push spreader provides a convenient alternative to distributing materials by hand. IMPORTANT: Suitable for refined ice-melting salt only. Do not use with rock salt. Assembly is required, and The Handy Broadcast Spreader is backed by a 2-year warranty.
