The Lancia Aprilia from Land of Black Gold. Back in 2008 Moulinsart created a range of diecast 1/43 scale model cars, their collaborator was Editions Atlas. All seventy of the models came from the adventures of Tintin. Hergé’s evident love of cars, well actually all vehicles, real or imagined, came to life in this product range. This new collection from Moulinsart from their collaboration with Hachette is a series of diecast 1/24 scale model cars. You will be thrilled by their appearance, they are bigger, yes twice the size, they shine like the sun, and the wheels do go round! The detail is incredible, nothing is missed from Hergé’s masterful pen strokes. Presented in a Perspex case, with design on it to highlight the adventure, and a brochure in French and English. Keep your collectible car model in a controlled environment away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and moisture. A display case or shelf with adequate padding is ideal to prevent scratches or dust accumulation. Handle the model car with care, using clean hands to avoid transferring oils or dirt onto the surface. Lift it gently, supporting the bottom and avoiding touching delicate parts like antennas or mirrors. Use a soft, non-abrasive microfiber cloth to gently wipe off dust and fingerprints. Avoid using harsh cleaning products or water, as they can damage the paint or decals.
