Trekmates Scafell GTX Shell Glove The Trekmates Scafell GTX Shell Glove is a lightweight and packable waterproof layer designed for reliable protection in wet and windy conditions. Built with GORE TEX + Active technology, these gloves offer excellent breathability while keeping hands dry, making them ideal for rainy days or as an outer shell over thermal gloves in colder weather. The durable polyamide outer with an FC free DWR finish increases resistance to the elements, while maintaining a flexible feel for active use. These gloves can be worn on their own during mild wet weather or layered over insulated gloves when temperatures drop. The 75D polyester taffeta lining ensures easy hand insertion, and the elasticated wrist helps retain warmth. A drawcord cuff adjuster provides a secure seal against the elements, while the internal wrist tether keeps the gloves safely attached during use. When conditions improve, the Scafell GTX packs neatly into its included stuff sack for effortless storage.
