UniBond Mould Resistant Sanitary Sealant Cartridge White 274 g, 4 Pack UniBond Sanitary Anti-Mould is a one-component, ready-to-use, silicone sealant for sealing joints in warm, humid environments where there is a likelihood of mould growth. It contains a fungicide and is suitable for use around baths, toilets, wash basins, showers, kitchens, worktops and tiling joints. Features: Silicone sealant Forms a permanently flexible seal Prevents mould growth Excellent adhesion to most materials Hygienic, waterproof seal How to Use: SURFACE PREPARATION: All surfaces must be clean and dry, free from dust and grease or, anything which may be detrimental to the correct adhesion of the sealant. Residues of old sealant or other materials as well as mould on the substrate, must be removed completely (if necessary, use a silicone remover). To get the best sealing results it is recommended to mask off the edges of the joint with masking tape before applying the sealant SEALANT APPLICATION: The sealant should be applied to ensure that the seal is filled. Smoothing off the seal ensures good contact between the sealant and the bonding surfaces. Directly after application, smooth off with a UniBond Sealant Smoother Tool. Remove any tape immediately, before the surface skin has formed on the sealant. Smooth over any proud sealant edges immediately.
