Made from pre-seasoned cast iron, this set of three VonShef skillet pans provides amazing value. The seasoning process involves baking vegetable oil on to the surface at a high temperature, creating a naturally non-stick surface, without the need for any chemical coating. The heat treatment allows the oil to penetrate into the pores of the iron to give it easy-release properties without the health worries associated with some chemicals. You can easily maintain the surface by rubbing in a little fresh oil after washing in soap and water. Ideal for cooking bacon, steaks and other meat, poultry and fish as well as vegetables.

How to clean and season your Cast Iron Skillet. Step 1 - Rinse and remove any food attached to the pan. Scrub gently until clean. Step 2 - Dry the pan. We recommend placing in the oven to ensure this is fully dry. Step 3 - Spread a thin layer of cooking oil all over the pan and put the pan on a medium heat on the hob. Step 4 - Once steaming, turn off, leave to cool and wipe the pan clean of excess oil.
