Care: Ensure legs are firmly fitted at setup; re-check screws two weeks after assembly, then every three months. Velvet can shimmer in daylight and read as lighter or darker under artificial light; to even colour and remove dents, stroke in one direction with an open palm, and wipe with a damp cloth or use steam when needed. Velvet: hand-wash only with cold water and a mild detergent; do not tumble dry or iron. Rubberwood: clean with a mild cleaner and soft cloth along the grain; wipe dry immediately; if the finish is oiled, re-oiling periodically helps sustain condition.
