Because this rug is handwoven with real leather and cotton, some shedding is normal during the first months and will decrease with use. Expect minor colour and size variations between batches; +/- 5-7 cm is typical. After unpacking, unfold promptly and leave under a weighted object for 72 hours to help the fibres settle. Avoid placing this rug in high-traffic zones to preserve the leather’s suppleness and the cotton’s softness; use a non-slip underlay to prevent movement on smooth floors. For gentle cleaning, spot clean spills immediately with a clean cloth and mild soap; never machine wash. Rotate every few months to promote even wear and keep the chevron pattern looking balanced.
