Light shedding may occur initially; vacuum regularly using a gentle setting. After unpacking, unfold and lay flat, weighting the ends for up to 72 hours to help it straighten. Avoid direct moisture and harsh cleaners; blot spills promptly and allow the pile to recover between cleanings. Rotate occasionally to even wear, and use a non-slip rug pad for stability.
