Wool rugs may shed slightly at first; this is normal for handmade pieces. After unpacking, unfold and leave for up to 72 hours, weighting the ends to help lie flat. Regular vacuuming on a low setting removes loose fibres; rotate every few months to promote even wear. Protect from direct sunlight to minimise colour fading, and blot spills promptly to prevent staining.
