Salt and chlorine can have a detrimental effect on most materials, so it's recommended that you give your equipment a rinse off in fresh water immediately after each use and put it out to air dry. Items of footwear and/or clothing must be unworn, unwashed with the original labels attached. Items of homeware including bedlinen, mattresses and toppers, and pillows must be unused and in their original unopened packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights. Also, footwear must be tried on indoors.
