Using promotional codes

How do I use a promotional code?


Step 1 –
Our promotional codes all have specific rules, and some products may be excluded from promotional offers. Please ensure that you are familiar with these exclusions before combining a promotional code with your order. Exclusions can be viewed in Current Promotions.

Step 2 –
Once you have chosen all your items that you wish to purchase, please proceed to your basket. Here you will be presented with a box with the title “Do you have a promotional code?”. Enter your promotional code and then click “Apply”

Alternatively you can also enter your promotional code when entering your payment details.

Step 3 –
A message will appear to let you know that your promotional code has been successfully applied. You can now go ahead and complete your order.


Unfortunately it is not possible to apply online-only codes to purchases that are made at the till. However, it is still possible to apply an online-only code to an order made on any in-store kiosk. As with online ordering, you will have the opportunity to add your promotional code in your bag or when you enter your payment details.

Why does my promotional code not work?

Step 2 –
If the products in your basket are not excluded, and your code has not expired, please contact our customer service team.

I forgot to apply my promotion code before clicking “place order and pay”, what do I do

Unfortunately we cannot add discounts to orders once the order has been placed.

I have a Debenhams store/gold card; do I need to enter a code to receive free delivery?

To make use of this discount you will need to select standard delivery during checkout and use your Debenhams store/gold account card to pay for your order. The discount will then be applied automatically and you will see a pop-up on the payment page to inform you that the discount has been applied successfully.

I have a Beauty Club reward card; do I need to enter a code to receive free delivery?

Can I get a VAT refund?

Unfortunately it is not possible to receive a VAT refund on any orders within or outside the EU. To find more about VAT charges please see What VAT is charged on my order?

Why didn't I receive my free gift?

Free gift promotions are only valid while stocks last. If you have added the qualifying products to your shopping bag, but a free gift has not automatically appeared in your shopping bag, then the item is out of stock.
