The Alva Artist Hammered Carbon Steel Frying Pan is made from hammered carbon steel with a forged metal handle. As an everyday skillet it handles steak, chops and vegetables over high heat. It works on gas, electric, ceramic, halogen and induction cooktops. The hammered surface and heavy gauge hold heat for a proper sear. Oven safe to 500F. It is uncoated, so there is nothing with intentionally added PFAS, PTFE or PFOA.
