During the first use, allow the candle to burn for up to four hours so that a full melt pool forms across the surface, preventing tunneling and ensuring even burning throughout its lifespan. It is recommended to extinguish the flame using a candle snuffer rather than blowing it out, as this helps preserve the wick and minimizes soot.
