Originally released in 1973, For Girls Who Grow Plump In The Night is a key Caravan album from the Canterbury progressive rock period. Its arrangements move between pastoral flute and viola colours, jazzy brass, fuzz organ and tougher guitar passages, while the closing suite stretches the band's melodic and instrumental ideas across the second side. This numbered 180g reissue returns the album to vinyl.TracklistSIDE ONE:1. Memory Lain, Hugh2. Headloss3. Hoedown4. Surprise, Surprise5. C'thlu ThluSIDE TWO:1. The Dog, The Dog, He's At It Again2.
