To keep your 18ct yellow gold glowing and your diamond accent sparkling brightly, proper maintenance is recommended. Always apply perfumes, body lotions, hairsprays, and tanning products before attaching your extender, as chemical build-up can dull gold surfaces and coat the diamond. Remove the extender prior to swimming in chlorinated pools, exercising, or bathing. To clean, submerge the extender in a small bowl of warm water mixed with a few drops of mild liquid soap for 10 to 15 minutes. Use a very soft brush to clean around the small diamond setting and inside the lobster clasp mechanism to remove gathered skin oils and lint. Rinse thoroughly under clean warm water and dry with a soft microfibre cloth.
