Convertible trail trousers from Craghoppers. ‘Kiwi Convertibles’ are the ultimate in space-saving design. Designed to protect and perform on the outdoor trail, these trousers will quickly convert to shorts, courtesy of a discreet zip above the knee. The comfortable, sun-protective and splashproof fabric offers a great first line of defence against biting bugs. Incorporating 9 handy pockets plus reinforced seat and knee panels. Versatile and practical for year-round hiking. Features -Reinforced double layer fabric to seat & knees -Zipped security pocket -Mobile phone pocket -Heel tape reinforcement -Easy care polycotton blend -UPF 50+ sun-protection -Relaxed Fit Water Repellent H2OShield PFAS compliant durable water repellent finish (at least 50% plant based), keeps you drier for longer, allowing rain & water based stains to simply run off. Anti-Insect Made using specially constructed fibres which are too tough for insects like mosquitoes to penetrate. Sun Protection SolarShield fabric is tried and tested to give you between UPF 30-50+ protection from harmful UV rays through a combination of 3 things, the density of the fabric construction, the type of yarns used and its colour.
Main fabric: 65% polyester, 35% cotton / Trim: 65% polyester, 35% cotton. Wash at 30 - low spin. Wash with similar colours. Wash inside out. Do not use bleach or water softeners. Can be tumble dried on low setting. Warm iron if needed. Do not dry clean. Remove belt before washing. Apply heat as per care instructions if DWR needs regenerating.
Extended returns Orders placed after 29th October 2026 can be returned until 5th January 2027

Items of footwear and/or clothing must be unworn and unwashed with the original labels attached. Also, footwear must be tried on indoors. Items of homeware including bedlinen, mattresses, and toppers, and pillows must be unused and in their original unopened packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.
