Empty the hopper completely after each use. Brush away any remaining fertiliser, seed or granules from the hopper and spreading mechanism. Wash with clean water when necessary, then dry thoroughly to help prevent corrosion or product build-up. Keep the spreading mechanism clear and moving freely. Store in a dry, sheltered place away from prolonged exposure to rain and moisture. Do not leave fertiliser or other treatment products inside the spreader during storage.
